Erika Hagensen Kammer
Erika Hagensen Kammer has seen the power and necessity of each individual voice up close.  For over 25 years, Erika has worked with individuals with disabilities and their families to engage in public policy in Washington, D.C. as well as state and local levels.  In particular, Erika most enjoys engaging with communities who are disproportionately impacted by laws and regulations and yet historically have a diminished voice.  While she enjoyed her time as the Executive Director of the Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr. Foundation and the Director of Disability Rights for The Arc of the US and United Cerebral Palsy not far from the Capitol, her favorite moments have been with individual advocates who realize the power of their own lived experience in community with others.  As a disabled mom of two children, Erika relies upon the diverse experiences of other mothers as she balances the ever-changing needs of her kids in this complex world.
